The mission of the Pre-Health Liaison is to raise awareness of its members and the Simmons University community about the medical, dental, veterinarian, and physician assistant fields and the specialities within those fields, as well as to support members who wish to pursue careers in any of these areas. The liaison's activities are to be designed to empower students through knowledge regarding health policy, disparities, and advocacy. In addition, it aims to provide opportunities for students to take action on health-related issues on the local, state, national, and international levels. Liaison members are to develop their leadership skills in order to feel more confident in their future as health professionals and to raise awareness on prominent health issues among the Simmons University community.
